Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has linked the state’s latest Rajya Sabha election developments to the larger political battle ahead of the 2027 Assembly polls. Speaking in Lucknow, Yogi described the contest as an “80 versus 20” battle, claiming that 80 per cent were with the NDA while 20 per cent backed the opposition’s PDA — the Samajwadi Party-led social coalition of Pichhda, Dalit and Alpsankhyak groups. The remarks come after the BJP fielded eight candidates for the 10 Rajya Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh, while the Samajwadi Party nominated two. n18oc_breaking-newsn18oc_india News18 Mobile App - https://onelink.to/desc-youtube
