Nov 7, 2026

Cancer treatment in India could become more affordable from November 9, as the government introduces revised prices for 137 non-scheduled anti-cancer medicines. The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has capped trade margins on these medicines at 30% of their maximum retail price, excluding GST, in a move aimed at curbing excessive markups across the pharmaceutical supply chain. The list includes several widely used cancer treatments, including immunotherapy drugs and medicines for breast, prostate, lung, colon, ovarian and cervical cancers. n18oc_health-matters n18oc_india News18 Mobile App - https://onelink.to/desc-youtube
